Hi Jay,
Decoding speed (measured by the time the "blue background" stays on) is
strongly dependent on the data being decoded.
If you find significant changes over time for decoding *identical* data
-- say, data in a recorded *.wav file -- I would take the report
seriously enough to investigate further.
Otherwise, not so much...
