A brief follow-up on this perplexing problem.
Thanks to Sandro, IW3RAB [who goes through all our source code with a
fine-tooth comb :-) ], the problem has been traced to a recent change in
the software JT65-HF-HB9HQX-Edition. Recent versions of this program
transmit user messages of the form "DX KA1ABC FN42" in a way that does
not conform to the JT65 protocol.
I expect the problem will soon be corrected by HB9HQX.
