I would object to such a change.
I have a low opinion of always on top windows, especially big ones. Also
it is not possible to implement this when there are multiple instances
running.
TBH I would rather the component windows of WSJT-X be dock widgets that
can be floated if required, this has the desirable side effect of making
all the dock widget windows raise along with the main application window
and also stay on top of the main application window. This doesn't have
the undesirable consequence of occluding and interfering with other
applications that setting a window to always on top does. Unfortunately
this would be a big change to the current user interface implementation
and form that isn't likely to happen any time soon :(
