Hmmmm ..... having been involved with the changed needed for COBOL 
programs in the period 1995-2000, I can honestly say that "it is years 
away" was the opinion of many a system designer/architect/programmer in 
the 70's - 80's - early 90's. Guess its the old 'history repeats itself' 
axiom proven again.  ;)
