Using Meinberg NTP for time sync with good accuracy over mobile Internet 
connection:

Checking current status of NTP service with ntpq -p

and Windows XP OS.

Asus driver does allow to force sampling rate of input and output  to 48 kHz, 
so I do.

Going check today if this issue exist under Windows 7, will let you know on the 
result.
