Hi John,

No doubt the WSPR-X branch could stand some cleanup... although I don't 
think we have a significant space issue in the repository.

Do keep in mind that WSPR-X may be essentially a dead end, 
development-wise.  As an experiment, at least, I've been busy putting 
WSPR-mode capability into WSJT-X.  If this experiment is successful -- 
and we should know fairly soon -- my guess is that we'll want to do all 
further development of WSPR within WSJT-X.  In that environment we 
already have much better tools for rig control, and the code had been 
tightened up and made more maintainable in a number of other ways.

Still, I'm happy to have you thinking about how to make the stuff now 
now in WSPR-X better.  If there's a better way to handle the required 
binary files, please feel free to suggest it.
