Of course!  Thanks for the help, all is well now.

I notice that the resulting wsprd.exe is more than 5 times larger than 
the one built from .../wsjtx_exp/lib/wsprd/Makefile.MinGW :

(JTSDK-QT) C:\JTSDK\wsjtx_exp\install\Release\bin)ls -l wsprd*.exe
-rwxrwxrwx  1 joe 0 674132 2015-05-08 09:30 wsprd.exe
-rwxrwxrwx  1 joe 0 128019 2015-05-06 14:58 wsprd0.exe

Any idea why?
