Joe

I have been running WSJT-X 1.6.x in WSPR mode on 630M (WG2XJM) for the
past couple of nights, and seems to work fine, nothing particularly
unexpected, just not many guys to decode as most are off the air due to
storms in the mid-west, etc. I did capture WH2XGP (W7IUV) in WA last night.

I also had the software monitoring 20M WSPR during the day while an
instance of WSPR4 was running, both processing audio from the same
soundcard. The C decoder seemed to decode more stations on average than
the WSPR4 decoder, with only a few not decoded that WSPR4 picked up. I
did notice some odd SNR results though. During a particular cycle, all
station SNRs in WSJT-X would be consistently 9-11 dB higher than WSPR4,
but the following cycles be within a dB or so. Seems this behavior was
near the first full cycle after startup or thereabouts. I don't recall
if any later cycles produced that same abnormal SNRs.
