My preference is to reserve tags for milestones that we need to be able to reproduce, for example to revert back to a prior release to test a reported issue. In the case of the wsjtx_exp branch I believe Joe is just asking those that have the ability to build from source to give it a try as feedback on stability and function is useful to him at this point.
The release branches + feature branches we are using is pretty standard practice and releases for beta test would normally be made and tagged from a release branch after any relevant feature branch work has been reintegrated. > > If so, is it worth updating my COPR repository? > > Thanks, > Richard 73 Bill G4WJS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
