That should not be nessecary but I think there is a problem with the Fedora repositories not having the latest asciidoc version. We need 8.6.9 and I think Fedora only has 8.6.8. I had to install asciidoc from source and add its path to the CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH passed to the WSJT-X CMake configure phase.
If you do not need the latest user guide you could define the CMake option WSJT_GENERATE_DOCS to OFF which will avoid the issue. If you are happy that the symlink is working well that too is an option until the Fedora repos catch up.
