Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] Doc checkout and generation

Hi Bill/ND0B,

There are several things in play here. First, documentation builds are
in a state of transition, from JTSDK-DOC to In-Application builds.
WSJT-X was the first to convert over to In-App building of documentation.

Since then, I've updated WSJT ( Windows only ) and WSPR ( Windows and
Linux ) to build documentation as party of the normal build process (
added doc targets ).

The sources ( for WSJT ) are located within the trunk/doc/user_guide
directories at present. However, I've not a gotten a final go ahead from
Joe to formally shift Doc builds over to In-Apps builds, and that will
require a couple Small Makefile changes for Linux. Makefile.jtsdk2 ( for
Windows ) I believe is working OK.

So, at present, we have to sets of Source Files for WSJT and WSPR. Those
that reside within ../branches/doc/{wsjt,wspr} and those that reside
within their respective ../doc/user_guide locations. , trunk or branch.

The difference between ( .bat and .sh with respect to JTSDK-DOC ) is due
to the fact, we use a Windows environment (*.cmd ) to build WSJT-X and
WSJT, thus the .bat stuff, whereas JTSDK-DOC is actually a full Cygwin32
Bash environment, thus using a shell script (.sh) to do the building.

Once Joe OK's / is happy with the In-App build, we can eliminate both
WSJT and WSPR builds from JTSDK-DOC ( ../branches/doc ). As stated
before, that will require a WSJT Makefile update on Linux.
