Hi all,

I'm writing to keep everyone up to date on what's happening with WSJT-X
in the experimental branch.

Effective with code revision r5666, WSJT-X includes most of what's
needed to be operational in ISCAT mode. The mode might be fully
operational (though perhaps with a few rough edges) within a few days.

As you probably know, Bill/ND0B has been working diligently on several
improvements to ISCAT mode in WSJT: in particular, T/R sequence lengths
of 5, 10, and 15 s as well as the default 30 s, and optional automatic
sequencing through the messages of a minimal QSO.

Assuming that these features will be seen as desirable by most ISCAT
users, we will want to include them in WSJT-X as well. Bill, I don't
know how familiar you are already with the Qt-based WSJT-X, as opposed
to the Python-based WSJT. I can do what's needed to activate the short
sequence lengths, but you might want to start thinking about how best to
implement auto sequencing in WSJT-X. Do let us know if you need some
help finding your way around the WSJT-X code!

Comments from anyone about these plans will be welcome.
