The version I was speaking about is r5910, and even the latest version
suggested by Mike W9MDB has the same behavior. This behavior with very
few callsigns has affected all the versions I use since sepember.
I believe that must be related to WInXP. Later this evening I will check
with a fresh installation on an other notebook with WIn7 and post info.
BTW r59xx versions have a far better performance in terms of decoding
with older computers in which older versions are unusable.

Remember that anything in the 1.6.1 series is a developer build and

advice.
I’ve compiled several of the bleeding edge versions, but stick with
1.5.0 (r5512) for daily use. The latest “authorized” alpha is 1.6.1
r5910, and probably is the safest bet since there is a LOT of testing
and development going on.
As Joe says:
If you operate with an unauthorized "rXXXX" code revisions in our
experimental code branch you have no idea what you've got. Quite
possibly, the program was built from an intermediate temporary "save"
of various files, and was not even supposed to produce a usable
program. Your observetions about what works or does not work are then
worse than useless -- they waste your time and ours.

What OS and WSJT-X version are you running?
I ran your wav file and I don't see the truncation on r5977
If you re-run the file you see the same truncation?

Hello
as you see in the image in Band activity the message is correct
but is truncated in the Rx Frequency window. Happened also with
SM7MBH in JO75 truncated to JO7.
This fools the sw which thinks JN4 as a report: so automatically
answers R+02. The following messages were promptly corrected by
myself, in order to complete the qso.

PS the audio file is for the subsequent message with had the
same problem.
