That is perhaps too briefer list. The development branch which is 
scheduled to become v1.6.0 includes WSPR-2 including automated 
coordinated band hopping, EME features including JT65B & JT65C, JT4A 
through to JT4G, echo mode for EME path validation and, Doppler 
tracking. Also there is accurate first order frequency compensation for 
your rig, mode specific working frequencies as well.

Most of the new features apart from WSPR-2 mode are for EME.

If you have a Windows sound card driver that supports a stereo mix 
device (usually disabled by default) I can explain how you can use that 
to connect two instances of WSJT-X back to back to allow testing of 
modes you cannot use on air i.e. EME capable system not available. It 
doesn't allow realistic EME delays and path losses but nevertheless it 
is a useful tool for exercising the WSJT-X logic for testing purposes in 
all modes.
