The WSJT Development Group is pleased to announce a second candidate 
release for WSJT-X Version 1.6.0.

Changes since v1.6.0-rc1 include the following items related to rig control:

  - Improved Yaesu FT-817/857/897 support
  - Speed up interaction with the Kenwood TS-940S
  - Full IPv6 support for rigctld
  - Try to restore auto information mode state for rigs that have it
  - Allow for poor Kenwood emulations without an ID command (HDSDR)
  - Fix a bug in handling certain Kenwood CAT commands
  - Add an option to rigctl so that AI mode can be set or cleared
  - Do not attempt mode queries if the CAT command is not available,
  - Allow for broken Kenwood CAT emulations like HDSDR

Other (relatively minor) improvements as follows:

  - Use UTC for scheduling WSPR band hopping
  - Suppress extra activity lines when not band hopping and no decodes
  - User configurable install locations to help with FreeBSD
  - Allow UDP initiated reply to CQ or QRZ with a -0.0 DT value
  - Ensure that first audio cycle on Tx is clean
