Hi Bill, I have been QRT for a few weeks until this afternoon because of an antenna failure - repaired an hour or two ago. Updated 1.7 to r6330.
I left CQ running and experienced this behaviour after the watchdog should have timed out although TX was not disabled by the watchdog. Sound was coming from local speakers on my Macbook. Is the problem related to the watchdog misbehaving? There was no message from the watchdog... I’ll try some more tests. System Preferences > Sound indicated USB Codec as did WSJT-X > Preferences. Trying either to switch from USB to Speakers to USB Codec had no effect. Restarting WSJT-X fixed it. Very strange. When it happens have a look at the "Preferences->Audio" panel in WSJT-X, are the audio devices set correctly or have they changed as well?
