In my case, I am not able to see the window any time on a clear 1920x1280 screen -- and I checked for windows laying behind any other window -- no expected dialog window (only the usual open windows for wsjtx). Some times I got the window after a restart of the system with other versions month ago --but not yet anymore.(Version 1.70-dev and 1.6.0 r6263) The reduction of frequencies had no influence on the situation -- deleted 23cm up to 1,2 cm. Three additions: 1. on other machines (Linux MInt 17.1 -- an ubuntu derivate) it works with all versions (1.5 -- 1.7.0-devel) perfect 2. during the last month, when using different versions (1.5 until 1.7.0-dev) I had situations when it works -- but I could not catch, why it works or not. (with regular updates of an actual linux system) 3. since with a new WSJT-X.ini there is no band active for Band hopping, I have the only chance to manual edit the WSJX-X.ini in that section -- it offers me a minimal chance to use the band hopping function of the program. But this does not open the dialog window for changing.
