As you can see from other replies, others keep them separate. I only do so as a) I did not know that I could so otherwise and b ) I like to keep my programs in the programs files folders - I do not have any issues on windows 7 as I have tweaked the security requirements - I do not need protecting from myself or the bad internet. I did not run one installer from on PC on another. What I meant to say was that running the installer fixed this problem on one PC whereas running the others PCs installer did not fix the problem on the other machine.
