Hi Sandro,

I have noticed this too. I think the issue is that the jt9 program fails 
when it is trying to write to the standard streams that have been closed 
by the parent. I need to look at how Fortran handles this case and see 
if jt9 can be made to terminate gracefully when where it is writing to 
disappears.
