There appears to be a significant regression of the JT65 TUNE function in 1.7.0
Alpha r7005 as compared to 1.6.0. r6263.
My config - TS-590S, Interface - DXLab Commander, Split operation - Rig, Mode
- None.
If rig was split before WSJT-X start then rig remains in split when WSJT-X is
started (RX VFO A, TX VFO B). - as expected.
if TUNE is selected rig immediately goes to simplex with TX VFO B. - Expected
rig to remain split.
On releasing TUNE rig remains simplex with RX VFO B.
If a CQ is initiated without moving TX cursor then, at the start of the TX on
the minute, the rig returns to split mode with TX VFO A and RX VFO B. The
frequencies appear to be correct for the TX cursor position.
if TUNE is selected, forcing rig to simplex, and the CQ is initiated after the
start of the minute then the rig remains simplex for the CQ and stays simplex
until the next TX cursor movement.
I don't yet know all the ways it can go wrong but it cost me a 6m QSO the first
time I tried this release.
Let me know if you need more info or have a specific test sequence you would
like run.
