Hi I find I have to run my rig's rx audio level at a significantly lower output for WSJT-X 1.7 than any other software, such as WSJT, MSHV, etc. As an example, if I set the rig audio output such that WSJT 10 indicates -14dB then WSJT-X 1.7 indicates 42dB, so you can see that if WSJT is set to the correct 0dB level, the level is way too high for WSJT-X. This is with all the software "gain" sliders centralised and the same audio source selected, so I'm wondering what the difference is?
It's just a minor irritant, but I'm curious! Windows 10 Pro, Soundblaster Live! 24-bit external.
