I use a Yaesu FT-991 and recently started evaluating the alpha build for WSJT-X v1.7 this report is on r7289 but I think the previous alpha ones have the same anomoly.

First; I can use WSJT-X 1.6.0 without any problems. With the v1.7 r7289; Using JT65 and the 'Radio->Split Operation->Rig' setting, I transmitt 1000 hz higher on the lower portions of the waterfall. Example; I set 520 as TX/RX frequency and the TX goes out at 1520 while the TX/RX indicators stay at 520. I set up a separate radio to verify this (a FT-450D). If I use 'Fake It' or 'None' everything works. I do see the TX VFO briefly switch down 1 kc but it immediately switches back up before transmitting. The result is that I unknowinly transmitt on the wrong frequency.

I don't know if it is something funny with the FT-991 or what. I did see this as important enough to report though.
