It will cause truncation of the first part of the Tx waveform in any mode.

I don't much like use of the *Tx Delay* parameter.  Any setting larger 
than the default 0.2 s is effectively asking software to protect against 
some inadequacy of the user's station hardware.  Proper sequencing in 
hardware should always be used.

In any event, why would anyone want to use a delay as large as 1 s ???
Perhaps I should limit the possible values to a range 0.2 - 0.5 s, or 
some such?
