If you uncheck the option "Monitor returns to last used frequency" that
behavior stops.
Perhaps though a band change should set m_lastMonitoredFrequency whether or not
one is monitoring?  Not sure why you'd want to revert back to a different band
in this situation.

Subject: [wsjt-devel] Possible bug in v1.7.0-rc3 and feature request.

Today I updated my wsjt-x to v1.7.0-rc3. I primarily use it for wspr
mode.

I noticed that if monitor mode is not enabled, and wspr mode is
enabled, and I select a band. The display updates to reflect the band,
but when I click on monitor, it reverts back to the previously selected
band. I had to enable monitor then select the band I wish to use.

It seems the previous version let me select the band when monitor was
not enabled.

Among the *rigs* I use is gqrx for linux. Would it be possible to have
a rig control option to use the tcp/udb control interface to have wsjt-x
switch frequencies and mode on gqrx?  To automatically set the mode and
freq on gqrx when a new band is selected and for band hopping?

Thank you for all the hard work and great programs.
