The problem is that the "MR" (memory read) icon/indicator (used only to set
up 60m operation) on the FT-950 extinguishes after the end of a transmission
and resets back to "VFO Mode", whether it is a "tune" mode or a "QSO" mode
and then has to be manually reset time after time. The frequency also drops
200Hz and locks out XMT.
When I run this suite:
Win 10,
Yaesu FT-950,
HRD 6.3.0.613 via CAT control to the PC,
WSJT-x v1.7.0,
60m,
JT-65/9,
JTAlert 2.8.7,
On v1.7.0 settings, under the "Rig:" selection pull down menu, "Ham Radio
Deluxe" is selected as the "Rig". PTT method is selected as "CAT".
Transmit Audio Source is selected to be "rear/data". Mode is selected as
"USB".
The HRD program controls the FT-950, not the WSJT-X program. The FT-950 is
pre-programmed with 5 memory channels for 60m.
I went back to WSJT-X v1.6.0 to cure the problem.
Is this a problem in the WSJT-X code or with the above mentioned suite?
I have been using WSJT-X since early 2014, v1.1.0 thru v1.7.0. I have never
experienced this problem before.
