I would like to test this.
Both of my Macs are on Mac OS X 10.11.6 (not 10.12).
I suffered the Audio reset issue.

(BTW, the reason for not upgrading to OS X 10.12 is that my Mac Pro 1,1 will 
not run it (even installing 10.11 is a hack on these old Mac Pro 1,1 machines). 
The other machine is a MacBookAir which „officially“ can run 10.11 so I can say 
that it is not the „Mac Pro EFI hack“ which causes the Audio Reset issue.)
