In r7182 list of working frequencies, those for 60m are omitted. 5757 is used

Last night (EU time), JT65 stations on 5757 were co-existing with two German FT8
stations, also on 5757. I note though the assertion "Exclusivity is important, as
the T/R period is 15 s which will not mix well with mode that use one-minute
sequences." So my questions are: is the omission of frequencies for 60m merely an
oversight or is there a reason? And: is FT8 on 60m meant to be on 5755 (2khz below JT65)
or, because of the narrow band, to be on 5757 as well?

HI Erik,

here is some text I included in my request for comments document that formed the basis for discussion on revised working frequency suggestions:

60m
===

All frequencies removed. This is due to the large scale misuse of 60m
allocations, where channel allocations vary between regions and
countries, and operators using audio tone offsets that place their
emissions out of band. Instead we recommend each operator with
privileges on this band enter their own working frequency or
frequencies and take care that they abide by their licence conditions
and local band plans when choosing an operating dial frequency and Tx
audio offset.

For example a UK user might add 5354000 and ensure the Tx DF is never
above 4000Hz, minus mode bandwidth, to stay within the allocated
channel.

The current default working frequency suggestions can always be viewed in the source code at:

https://sourceforge.net/p/wsjt/wsjt/HEAD/tree/branches/wsjtx/FrequencyList.cpp

or by updating to the latest version and resetting the working frequencies list ("Settings->Frequencies" then right-click the list and select "Reset").

You may wish to explore the other options on the working frequencies right-click context pop up menu. E.g. you can save the list or a selection or rows from it to a file, you can load the list from a file overwriting the list contents, you can merge in from a file, you can insert new entries, or delete one or more entries. Individual entries may be amended by double clicking fields and changing. The rows may be sorted by a column's contents either ascending or descending.
