Hi Joe & Steve,
while testing and revising Mike's QSO log times patch I have hit an
issue with MSK144. The situation is triggered by receiving what appears
to be a blank or all spaces message. The blank message is the result of
another issue which I will try and find the trigger for.
The crash is:

Fortran runtime error: Substring out of bounds: lower bound (-3) of
'msg' is less than one
short messages are enabled but not contest mode.
