Ok, Bill, I have checked the box to allow frequency changes while transmitting
and my Flex-6700 has not protested with a CAT error. I have  made a couple of
contacts and it seems like my issue is addressed, but I would like to continue
to test it for a while before I am sure that your suggestion is a fix. Ed, K0KC

Hi Ed,

I believe is is ok to check "Settings->General->Behaviour->Allow Tx
frequency changes while transmitting" for that rig. Try it and see if it
helps, if you get CAT errors then you will have to un-check it and click
"Halt" before double-clicking another caller if you are already
transmitting. Note that this is not specific to FT8, it is true for all
QSO modes that use split to increase coverage.
