Hi OM,
at the time the release packages were built Fedora 26 was not officially
released. It is now and the build machine will be upgraded. The next RC
will be compatible with Fedora 26. Please have some sympathy for the
development team who have to maintain multiple platforms to test and
deliver WSJT-X in binary form, we stick to official releases to minimize
our workload.
We do have a package maintainer for RH type distributions so you should
be able to get a compatible RPM file. In fact there is a post from
Richard right now!
Please note that the Linux packages released on Joe's WSJT-X web site
and on SourceForge are clearly stated as only supporting the current
latest release of the distribution targeted. They are meant as a
temporary stop gap while the package maintainer do their much
appreciated stuff.
