I think this behavior works pretty well.  Double-click on TX6 makes the message
sticky (I call it "locked" in the tooltip) and disables the textbox for a
visual indication.  Double-clicking again enables and resets the CQ message.Any
protocol with the freq offset message turns it off too and does not recognize
the lock.
So...current default behavior is the same until you double-click TX6.

Should we ask if anybody expects to reset on band change?  What mode of

the "CQ XX" no matter the band?

change the color to indicate it?
HI Mike, I would suggest that expectations of directional CQ calls would
change with band, it is far more common that not to have propagation to
disjoint areas of the planet when switching bands. I just assumed that landing
on a new band should start with a default CQ which might be modified once band
conditions have been assessed. With respect to the double click action on a
button, although I have implemented that for other Tx buttons, I am not yet
sure how well it will work as double-clicked buttons are not really in the
normal UI play-book. Give it a try if you want and we can see how it goes. The
driving force is more from size constraints on the main window than good UI
design principles. 73
