I'm getting a bunch of strange packets sent to pskreporter that (I
think) are coming from wsjt implementations. For example:
AD BC CB DA 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 04 4D 53 48 56 00 00 00
01 00 00 00 04 31 2E 34 32
I think that this is wsjt because of the adbccbda header (which
google helpfully points to wsjt). These packets are coming from
multiple ip addresses.
Does anybody have any idea of what is going on?
Thanks,

Hi Philip,
I have had a look at the latest source code for MSHV and unfortunately
it seems that Christo, LZ2HV, has moved from re-implementing parts of
WSJT/WSJT-X to wholesale copying large chunks, without any
accreditation to the original authors. This is in clear breach of the
GPL v3 licence that the WSJT-X code is placed into the public domain
under. It appears that by taking large chunks of code he has also
enabled the equivalent of the WSJT-X UDP message protocol, and
misconfigured it to spam your server, despite that no being part of
spotting to pskreporter.
Given the clear breach of the WSJT-X GPL v3 licence I would like to
request that pskreport block any traffic from the MSHV application
until the situation is normalized.

Bill,
Currently, I'm just dropping these packets on the floor as I don't
understand them -- they were cluttering up my logs which is what led me
to post this question. I have also posted the same question on the mshv
mailing list.
