I was experiencing the same issue and never found resolution; I ended up
going back to using WSJT-X to control the 7300 directly. Since that worked
okay and I had no other rig to test with Commander, I assumed it was a
DXLab issue. Can you share what (approximate) delays you are seeing now
with your settings changes?
