Hi Fran,
the defect is that the working frequencies table gets corrupted if you
upgrade from WSJT-X v1.8.0 RC1, there is nothing wrong with CAT control.
Reset the working frequencies by going to "Settings->Frequencies",
right-click the "Working Frequencies" table and click "Reset". This is a
one-time operation so long as you do not revert to RC1 again, as noted
in the RC2 release notice.
