I just did a FreqCal on my SDR using the new method in r8053.
It now not only calculates and tests the values collected in fmt.all, it
has an Apply button that writes the values for Slope and Intercept to the
Settings > Frequencies boxes supplied for same.
It also deletes fmt.all, after you tell it to apply.
Very nice!
Results: (10 minutes,0.640, 2.5, 3.3, 5, 10 MHz)
Slope: 0.5635, Intercept: 0.27 Hz
SDR Dial on 50.260 reads 50.260.029
My well calibrated TX sig from TS-590sg: 1499 Hz
K5GZR reads 1503 on both SDR and TS-590sg
Don't think I could ask for more. Tnx much,
73, N0AN
Hasan
