In section 10.1.3 of the user manual, on configurations, the information
has errors. I spent an hour experimenting trying to get to work, only to
discover that instead of --config <configuration-name>, it needs an equal
sign  --config=MyConfiguration   or  -c=MyConfiguration.

Also, there is no example or explanation of what you would use the
configuration
menu for.  How about something like;

*"If you have several transceivers, or you would like to work different
modes with*

*different option settings and easily switch back and forth, but you still
want all of*

*this to use the same log file, then the Configurations menu is for you.
The Configurations*

*menu will permit you to store multiple configurations in the WSJT-X
initialization file.  *

*If you only have one config (the default one) at this time, you can choose
the "Clone"*
*sub-command to create a copy. Next, select that cloned copy by using the*

*Configurations -> Config-Copy-Name -> Switch To menu option. Then you
can use the *

*Configurations -> Config-Copy-Name -> Rename *

*sub-command to call it anything you want, such as "Icom7300" or
"Meteor-Scatter-Settings".  *

*Next, you can use the Configurations Menu to select the new config name
(Use the "Switch To" *

*sub-command in the menu), and then when you start customizing settings
from the *
*File -> Settings menu, they will be stored in the currently selected
Configuration.*

*Note that all Configurations and their settings will be stored in the same
initialization file used*
*by WSJT-X, but the software will keep track of which settings are for
which configuration.*

*Note also that ALL configurations will use the same Log file. If you are
looking for separate*
*log files for different rigs or modes, you should use the --Rig-Name
option instead of the*
*--Config option.*
