Hi Pino,

If you mean to imply that WSJT-X generated these messages internally, then I
think that this is highly unlikely.

These are clearly not false decodes. Apparently, IS0FWY decided to send Tx2,
Tx3, Tx4, and then Tx5 in successive intervals, for his or her own reasons, and
obviously as some sort of response to your earlier call.

While it is certainly possible to see an isolated false decode that contains
your own callsign with the other callsign equal to the call that you have
entered into the Dx Call box, such false decodes would always be accompanied
with trailing “a2”, “a3”, or “a4” designators, indicating that they are the
result of applying AP decoding. Even if the AP designator was present, I would
still argue against false decodes because the probability of seeing Tx2 through
Tx5 in order, in successive odd intervals, with precisely the same frequency
offsets, the same DT, and the same SNR (in the first 3 cases) is vanishingly
small.

I am quite certain that these were real signals decoded by WSJT-X. As to why
they were transmitted, I’m afraid that I have no idea.
