Dear WSJT-Developers -
First of all, thank you for bring WSJT-X to the HAM Community.
Unfortunately, I've got a problem with it that I can't resolve. I've been
to WSJT QRZ Forums, but nobody has an answer there.
Program Version: WSJT-X v1.8.0win32
Operating System: Win7 SP1 64bit
Problem Description:
Dialog Box upon opening program says: "Error in sound input", "Requested
input audio format is not supported on device"
Any USB Sound Card that is installed is displayed and works under the
AUDIO/OUTPUT drop down menu. But nothing is displayed in the AUDIO/INPUT
drop down menu.
Discussion:
I tried all 3 of my USB Sound Cards and WSJT-X v1.8.0 on a Notebook running
Win7. WSJT-X and the USB Sound Card devices work correctly there. So, I'm
at a loss to explain why they don't work on my other Machine.
Others have also had this problem. So, any help or guidance on how to
resolve it would be most appreciated.
