I use git-svn and I use svn+ssh access as I have write access but here is the equivalent:

But that is local only, "svn info" does not do a server round trip.

Here's a transaction using pure svn:

Maybe it is only http svn access that is having problems. Do they even support http these days? Can you switch to https?
