Hi all,
Puzzling. FT8. I have seen this, maybe 20 times in ~2 weeks. Always on 20m and
40m. Here is a fictional example:
144330 -14 -0.1 1550 - CQ K1ABC EN91 ~U.S.A.
144330 -16 -0.1 1552 - CQ K1ABC EN91 ~U.S.A.
Another:
013545 -6 0.2 445 - CQ W9XYZ FN51 ~U.S.A.
013545 -8 0.2 447 - CQ W9XYZ FN51 ~U.S.A.
013545 -7 0.2 448 - CQ W9XYZ FN51 ~U.S.A.
- I have seen it in the Band Activity and the Rx Frequency panes.
- always 2-6 Hz between each other.
- always for CQ only.
- doesn’t make a difference if it is a relatively strong or weak signal.
- always a valid call sign.
- sometimes it repeats for the next cycle.
Questions:
- program bug?
- propagation signal image?
- soundcard/computer issue (for 2 different computers- nah)?
- 2 or more real signals sent (I don’t think so)?
Running rc3, deep and AP enabled, Win7 2GHz Celeron and Win10 2.25GH i7.
Any ideas? I can try to capture one if it helps.
