You can adjust the timeout value...see this reference...seem like this
information should be the user guide but it isn't.

Trying to run N1MM and WSJT-X at the same time through microHAM USB Device
Router which allows two CAT programs to talk to one radio. WSJT will
occasionally give a Rig Control error which I have been able to reduce the
occurrence by having the programs poll slower. It appears WSJT-X is not patient
and expects an immediate response from the radio while the router is busy
servicing the other program before going to WSJT-X. Is there another way to run
N1MM and WSJT-X without getting the error? Or can WSJT-X be more patient
waiting for a response?
