In F28 there is libgfortran.so.5
And when try compile in F28 I get:
/wsjtx_config.h:47:11: virhe: ”size_t” ei nimeä tyyppiä
typedef size_t fortran_charlen_t;
^~~~~~
./wsjtx_config.h:47:11: huom: ”size_t” is defined in header ”<cstddef>”; did you
forget to ”#include <cstddef>”?
./wsjtx_config.h:1:1:
+#include <cstddef>
#ifndef WSJTX_CONFIG_H__
./wsjtx_config.h:47:11:
typedef size_t fortran_charlen_t;

gmake[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Makefile2:100: CMakeFiles/wsjtx_udp-static.dir/all]

So, new version users have little difficulties, ??

Hi Jarmo,
the official release of Fedora Core 28 runs very close to the release
schedule for WSJT-X v1.9.0. As we are just behind I expect that the
official GA release of WSJT-X v1.9.0 will be delivered with an RPM for
Fedora 28 rather than 27 as now being delivered. Note that the Linux
packages we provide at release dates are only meant to be stop gaps
until the package maintainers catch up and as such they are only
expected to run on the releases they are built against which we
announce. I do try and keep up to date with the latest "stable and long
term" release of Linux for Intel/AMD on Ubuntu and Fedora and Raspbian
on Raspberry Pi when making release kits but note that that entails
upgrading all my build systems which is not a small task and necessarily
involves some delay after distribution updates.
