You want USB-D -- i.e. Data Mode.  The 7300 will not receive digital audio
unless in data mode.

You can set Data/Pkt mode in WSJT-X Setttings/Radio and that should make it
automatic.

   - Program version: 1.9.1 r8747
   - Operating system: Windows 10 Pro, 10.0.17134 Build 17134
   - Concise description of the problem: WSJT-X will place my Icom IC-7300 into
transmit mode but will not transmit any data. Antenna connection is good and
properly adjusted for low SWR. No data is transmitted on any band.
   - Exact sequence of steps required to reproduce the problem: Double-click on
a FT-8 or JT-65 station received. BTW, the program is receiving beautifully. No
issues. Try to contact the station. IC-7300 goes into transmit mode, but
waterfall display shows nothing being transmitted, just a carrier. I have yet
to make a contact, even with the strongest stations. I have checked the driver
settings. The driver was downloaded from Icom prior to connecting the radio to
the computer.Driver is Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge. On my system, it
happens to be on COM5.  Port settings are 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1
stop bit, no flow control.Program settings are: Rig: IC-7300, CAT Control

Again, everything in the program appears to be functioning normally except no
data is being transmitted, but the transmitter is properly going into transmit
mode, and the Test PTT test button is red and not green.
Thank you for your help. I have been trying to figure this out by going to a
variety of Internet sources, but without any luck. Also, your Yahoo support
group appears to be non-existent. I tried sending this issue to them in an
e-mail, but it was returned as undeliverable.
