Hi: I've enjoyed watching the pile ups over the last few days while using hound mode. Thanks to the development team for this mode.
I don't spend much time on HF and when I do I typically use a vertical antenna fed with an auto tuner. So when changing bands I need to feed RF into the auto tuner so will tune. To be legal I need to Identify when I transmit. In normal mode it is easy to simply transmit my call via a free message. This doesn't seem to be possible without switching out of hound mode. Not a huge issue but perhaps in the future a simple way to send ones call could be provided while in Hound Mode ? I realize I can send the TX one message but I don't like calling the DX station if I can't hear them. Switching to "message set number 2" on the main screen while in hound mode and manually selecting a free message still results in the TX one message being sent.
