Yes I am jumping between 1 and 2 as I do not understand any other way.
I start CQ with label 1 Tx6.
As the TX6 is not given the locator I go also to free text to give as stations are asking it.

But I think that the problem was in Windpws update..

I assume your step 2 means that you allow the program to transmit a CQ
message using message field Tx6 on Tab 1.

Your step 3 says "select a free text message in Tx6". The only TX#
message field that allows "selecting" a pre-stored message is Tx 5. So
I don't know what you did here. Did you menually enter "RC2 PSE" in
Tx6? Or select a pre-stored "RC2 PSE" inn Tx5? Or something else?

Your step 4 says "select General message". This appears to be a
reference to the "Gen msg" entry field of Tab 2? Are you really
changing between Tab 1 and Tab 2? If so, why? Users are assumed to use
either Tab 1 or Tab 2, but not both in the same QSO.

When you write "QSY to label 1 Std Messages", do you mean that you
selected Tab 1 and then clicked "Generate Std Msgs" ??

I am baffled. I can't make the program do what you say it does for you.
