Ok. I tried some tests. I do decode both 77 bit and old messages I had a buddy send an old cq and 77 bit cq. I decided both.
But I did not select the always generate 77 bit messages so I expected to answer with the format I decoded. That was not the case ??? Is this intended operation? I know for the rc release it is wasted code as the GA version is 77 bit only. In this case, if I do not select decode only 77 bit messages, how do I know how to answer? Is there something i missed in the GUI window to show I got a 77 bit vs old message? It sort of seems like the 2 message format check boxes could be 1 box for new format.... KI4US Bill Pence
