Hi Bill,All understood. I could not reproduce the "failure". I did not change the Rx audio offset nor the settings of this morning and nevertheless the message did not show up.Sorry for the false report/alert.If possible, the only change to do in this case is to correct the typo in the message: from sybmode to submode.:-)Thanks and 73 Alex, XE1MEX On Friday, October 12, 2018, 5:31:37 PM CDT, Bill Somerville <g4...@classdesign.com> wrote: On 12/10/2018 22:55, Alex Diaz - XE1MEX via wsjt-devel wrote: > Hi all, > I was trying to receive data from the DSLWP-B Lunar Satellite on 435.4 > MHz and 436.4 MHz in mode JT4G but I got the message *** Rx Freq is > set too high for this sybmode ***. > Hi Alex,
it is not the RF frequency that is too high, it is the highest audio tone of the demodulated signal that is too high. The highest tone must be below 2756.25 Hz and you have the lowest tone at 1776 ±200 Hz which would make the highest tone in range 4181 Hz (1776 + 200 + 7 * 315). Try setting your Rx audio offset to 100 Hz and retune the signal. 73 Bill G4WJS. _______________________________________________ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
