I installed the latest (as of two days ago) version of OpenSSL (using installer defaults) on my Win10 home and it did not fix the LoTW error message. Reread the fix posts and then installed the “p” version recommended - which did fix the LoTW error. Maybe Don also installed one of the non-p versions.
BTW, “where" says libeay32.dll is in two places on my machine: c:\program files (x86)\intel\icls client\ and c:\program files\intel\icls client\. And, for security, seems like WSJT-x should work with latest OpenSSL. But, maybe that is a LoTW server issue.
