Hi:
I was able to make some QSO with RC4. After testing some bands, WSJTX
is not activating PPT as usual. Will try goind back to 1.9.1. I
moved freq to above 2k as instructions have QSO with W7AH and
TI5/N5BEK 20 and 12 meters.
Seems weird, was worry about PS or the RIG but PPT works ok with
other digital software.
My rig is Kenwood 480 SAT. Using SignaLink USB.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Edfel,
if you are using a SignaLink USB interface then WSJT-X is not activating
PTT at all, that is done by the SignaLink USB when it detects Tx audio.
What is more likely is that you are selecting a Tx audio offset above
your rig's Tx SSB filter cut off and little of no output is getting to
the transmitter. If you have CAT control then this is easily rectified
by selecting "Settings->Radio->Split Operating" as "Rig" (or Fake It" if
"Rig" doesn't work), if you do not have CAT control then you have a
couple of options:
1) Keep your Tx audio offset below your rig's Tx SSB filter cut-off,
usually around 2600Hz although you should move a little further down to
avoid any filter roll-off and to allow for the 50Hz bandwidth of the FT8
signal.
2) Adjust your rig's VFO up about 1kHz and use Tx audio offsets between
1500 Hz and ~2200Hz. E.g to operate on 14074 kHz with a 2500Hz Tx
offset, you can instead move to 14075 kHz USB dial frequency and set a
1500 Hz Tx audio offset. You will not miss any other stations signals
even if their or your rig's frequency calibration is not accurate.
