I'm pretty sure I've seen this before with earlier WSJT-X versions.  Maybe
it's just my misunderstanding.

 

I was calling CQ in WSJT-X v2 RC4 when N6ORB responded to me, off-frequency.

We completed an FT8+ QSO no problem thanks to Auto Seq and Call 1st, but
during the QSO the green RX channel marker didn't move to his frequency as I
expected it should:

 



 

His were the red blobs at 2165 Hz.  No idea who that was as 2000 Hz -
someone using 75 bits I presume.  SO last year.

 

The decoder worked fine, showing me his decodes in both the left Band
Activity and right Rx Frequency panes as expected . 

 



 

.  but as I say the RX channel marker on the waterfall remained stuck at
2030 Hz .

 



I expected it to move to his frequency, so I'd be able to tell at a glance
which were his red blobs on the waterfall, and so that decoder was
concentrating all it's little CPU cycles on that very spot.
